Board Talks with BWSF - Dr. Sheila Ward

Board Talks is a new video blog series hosted by intern, Tolu Omokore. She will use this time to not only introduce our board members but take a dive into their work with the Black Women in Sport Foundation and discuss their hopes for the future.

Dr. Sheila Ward has been a part of the Black Women in Sport Foundation for 20 years! Before she joined the Foundation, she was a Graduate Assistant at Temple University where she first met Professor Tina Sloan-Green. Since her time with the foundation, Dr. Ward has completed numerous grant writing for the foundation. Dr. Ward is currently on the faculty at Norfolk State University and is assisting others with their dissertations.
