The Elvira B. Pierce Awardees Raheem Manning, Tina Sloan Green, and Andrea Lawful-Sanders

Congratulations to Black Women in Sport Foundation Co-founder Tina Sloan Green, the 2023 Legacy Awardee of The Elvira B. Pierce Scholarship Fund Awards. This EBP Annual Scholarship Luncheon Fundraiser was held May 6, 2023 @11:30am-3:00pm at the Hilton Philadelphia, 4200 City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

Also honored were EVP Service Awardee Andrea Lawful-Sanders who also delivered the keynote address; and the Distinguished Overbrook Alumni Awardee Raheem Manning (C/O '07) who also served as the Master of Ceremony; and the EVP Scholarship Awardees.

The Live Jazz Trio with Alfie Pollitt performed.

Enjoying the ceremony were Mr. Frank Green, Jr.; BWSF Board Officer Shannon George and her husband Stuart George. BWSF invited members of its community programs to share in the celebration.
