BWSF Participates in NJTL Day @ Princeton vs Harvard Women's Tennis Kids Day

4/21/2024: Black Women in Sport Foundation was on the road for the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) Day at Princeton University: Princeton Tigers vs Harvard Crimson Women’s Tennis Kids Day.

This event was for youth participants who may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit an Ivy League college campus and experience watching D1 level tennis.

The day included a tour of Jadwin Gymnasium, Chemistry building, and Carl A. Field Center. The NJTL guests were treated to lunch following an engaging speaker presentation. The awesome NJTL youth asked impressive questions. The day culminated with a historic title match between Harvard Women's Tennis and Princeton, both teams coached by Black women.
