Help BWSF Get Youth to the US Open Tennis’ USTA Net Generation Kids On Court Experience!

Great News!

We’re invited to bring our awesome kids to the US Open in New York but we can’t do it without your support!

Black Women in Sport Foundation, a 501 (c)3 non-profit, has been selected to participate in the United States Tennis Association  (USTA) Net Generation Kids On Court Experience on August 30th at the upcoming 2024 US Open in New York! We are thrilled to be part of this prestigious event! We are calling on our village to help make it happen.

2022 BWSF Youth and Coaches at the US Open Net Gen On Court Experience

WHAT’S THE ON COURT EXPERIENCE?

It’s a rare opportunity to showcase our program on court at the 2024 US Open and play before the pros play!  Our youth will be showcasing basic red ball tennis playing skills to successfully rally back and forth with one another on court while the music plays and the crowd cheers them on. One member of the group will have an opportunity to do the coin toss for the professional match that follows the on-court demo.

Other exciting experiences at the US Open are the educational zone, a kids play zone, and watching professional tennis matches and practice sessions.

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT?

Sponsor a youth by making a donation. Your support will off-set the cost of transportation, meals, and other expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal of $8,000.
