Traci Green Inducted Into USTA Middle States Tennis Hall of Fame 2024

(10/17/2024) Congratulations to Black Women in Sport Foundation President Traci Green on her induction into the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Middle States Hall of Fame!

The 2024 Middle States Hall of Fame Class includes: Sally Baird, Becky Desmond, Jim Flesch, Traci Green, and Ora Washington.  The 26th Middle States Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Auction, and 100 Year Celebration took place on the evening of Thursday, October 17, 2024 at DuPont Country Club, 1001 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE  19803.

BWSF Co-founders Tina Sloan Green and Dr. Nikki Franke; Board Members Shannon George (Treasurer), Dr. Jacqueline McDowell (Secretary), and Dr. Sheila Ward, were present to celebrate Green. A host of family and friends also attended the awards in support of Green.

It was a great event celebrating Black Women in Sport Foundation President Traci Green and all of the outstanding USTA Middle States  Hall of Fame Honorees.

Established in 1994, this prestigious Hall of Fame boasts 115 prior inductees, including tennis legend and women’s rights pioneer Billie Jean King, and former USTA Presidents Jane Brown Grimes, Dave Haggerty, Merv Heller, Judy Levering and Martin Tressel.
