The BWSF is hosting it's annual virtual honors award event in collaboration with the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University.  This event is a part of the Blockson Collection fall virtual lineup.

A B O U T

The BWSF Honors recognizes exceptional individuals who help further the organization's mission to increase the involvement of black women and girls in all aspects of sport, including athletics, coaching and administration. The honorees are pillars in their community, role models, and valiant advocates for black women and girls.

Established in 2019, BWSF Honors has already recognized a half dozen outstanding individuals who exemplify the values of the Foundation and reaffirm our longstanding commitment to growth and access in the Philadelphia community and beyond.

This virtual event is free to attend!  The 2020 theme is Past, Present, & Future, which will take a retrospective look at the work and impact of the Foundation, while also hinting towards our aspirational future. 

We encourage all of our supporters and community members to join us in celebration of the exceptional individuals who have influenced and supported the mission of the Black Women in Sport Foundation, and advanced opportunities for black women!
